OVERVIEW

The Living Trash have spent more than 15 years pursuing one goal, and one goal only - the creation of bad music, terrible tunes, the kind of organized sound which sends children running away in fear and disgust. Moderate success has been achieved - already TLT is one of the top five bad-music groups hailing from Merrill, Wisconsin - but there is still much to do.

You can help spread the music and concept of TLT - the only way this awfulness can expand is through grassroots involvement. Download our MP3s and play them for every single friend or family member you have. They will thank you later, specifically in 2010, when the music industry as we know it finally dies upon the startling realization that making "good" music is in fact greatly evil, and has been the underlying cause of human suffering for several millenia...

HISTORY

1985
Joe and Emil form their first band "Me & Him" and record a cover of Van Halen's "Hot for Teacher".

1986
Joe and Emil form "Strangled Trees" and record an album.

1987
Joe and Emil form "The Living Trash" on September 13th, recording their debut album "The Nutritional Value of Garbage".

1987-1989
"The Living Trash" records 70 albums, despite Emil moving to St. Paul Minnesota in 1988.

1991
First "TLT" reunion, in Irma Wisconsin, with special guest Marc Wood. "Straight Outta Compost" album is recorded.

1994
Second "TLT" reunion, in Minneapolis, with special guest Chris Blanford. "It Isn't Easy Being a Sock" album is recorded.

1997
Third "TLT" reunion, in Minneapolis.

2001
Fourth "TLT" reunion, in Minneapolis. "Fear Not" album is recorded.

2004
"TLT" flirt with fame as their 1987 cover version of a popular early 1980's pop song is released on a tribute album to a popular early 1980's British pop band. Sadly, the band's former record label sues to stop the release, thus keeping "TLT" in obscurity.

2010
"TLT" become World Rulers.

2037
"TLT" 50th Anniversary World Tour.

"TLT" 75th Anniversary Box Set.
